Hi, I’m Nadia, a reformed M.F.A. student now unleashing my words onto the world. I am a radical humanist, mental health advocate, seer-of-the-silver-lining, and born feminist – a.k.a. believer in the equality of all people. I’m also an amateur handicraft artist with a humble Etsy shop.
As a writer, I aim to break down the barriers that limit authenticity through the power of story. I’m a regular contributor to Sober Nation, and have been featured on the Huffington Post. I am an experienced writer in the fields of mental & physical health, addiction recovery, artistic self-expression, cultural conflict, and self-improvement.
My writing seeks to confront current social problems, damaging stigmas, and the subversive power of stereotypes. I’m a passionate warrior for individuality, battling against an illusion of what’s “normal” and using language as the vehicle to carry my truth. I am fascinated by the human experience and its diversity across the globe.
As Albert Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Every person has the potential to find that slice of the universe that he or she can call home. Each of us has the right to our own truths.
With deep empathy and fervor for social change, I will write the stories and represent the voices that still need to be heard. I can produce engaging, unique content for your readers that goes beyond the norm.
